Hohokam Basket Figurine
The Hohokam people of Arizona existed between 200BC and 1450 AD, and were known as the "canal builders" for the superior farming practices. They were also skilled artisans, creating intricate pottery and women baskets. The Hohokam Basket Horse represents this unique design and complex crafting, with shots of blue, representing the Hohokam's advanced irrigation techniques, dividing the stylized farm fields.
