Fluff
is a whole line of super cute, and ultra sassy stuff created by Los
Angeles Artist, Claudette Barjoud. The designs are based on her
artwork and inspired by vintage pinup, 20's glamour, Mid Century
Modernism, fashion and eclectic mix of art. The idea for Fluff was
to create unique frivolities that would make people squeal with delight
and celebrate the sassy glamour girl in all of us.
After designing products for several companies. The last of which
being Frederick's of Hollywood, Claudette decided to five her dream of
Fluff a chance.
The line debuted in Los Angeles in 2002 when she designed a series of
fun sparkly greeting cards all with glitter detailing. At that
time each and every card was glittered by hand. Shortly after
starting Fluff Claudette was joined by Jason Sallin, who is also an
artist. Jason was overcome by the magic of Fluff and had to join
in! (A side note, Jason is very manly and you would never imagine
him making pink fluffy poodles out of marabou feathers, but he did! And
loved every minute!)
After a lot of blood, sweat and glitter, there has been a Fluff
